I think this fails to take into account the true nature of a Jalop. It only rates a single car. I can't even take somebody seriously if they only have one car. Everyone should have numerous cars in various states of repair. It should also calculate your past cars to see trends and repeated poor (read fantastic) judgement.

I think I have my bases covered for Jalop worthy current and past choices, yet I only managed 100 points for my current DD.

CURRENT: '86 MR2 for ice racing / '87 E30 for road racing / '00 E39 Wagon (manual tranny) for a DD

Nah, I'll just go spool the turbo up. I'll take a Hot Hatch over a Camaro any day Jalop points or not. And -314 is so low of a score it is almost a high one I think.

Okay this is a little BS. My 2 door Cherokee with a 5 speed (very Jalop car) only got 10 points because it get -55 points for being a RWD SUV. What?

But my 1978 Volvo 242? That got 255 points! Well that might be a little bit BS. How big of a bondo patch does it need it be? Because I've got a about a million little bondo spots from covering up little surface rust spots that were sanded down. Even without the bondo points I'm still at 155. Not bad.

As it stands

My Sonett scores a 135. It also doesn't run (like at all). I notice that there is no difference between V4/I4 in this.

My Ranger scores an 93 after losing 25 points for cupholders.

Future plans for the Sonett score a 240 minimum, higher depending on how you define things.
101-160 hp - Are you driving a Se7en or a Miata? uhhhh, kind of.... parts of one at least
